i started a google site for the first time its a gallery of my metal working so far. -amazing gallery-
day 1
Not much is happening today all we did was make the review sheet for this weeks wednesday challenge which is in the link above and than we came up to the comp apps classroom and update our degrading websites.
Day 2
Not much happened again the ap came in today and gave us a challenge of figuring out the city codes on making a ramp for a wheelchaired person t oget to the garden. Now i have a sadistic pov because she took gardening class where your on your hands and knees gardening planting and weeding and you take the class that requires legs when you cant physically walk. even if you get onto the dirt next to the garden all you can do is sit and watch people garden with a slighty closer view on them squating over a plant and plant the garden. now idk about you but thats basically taunting .

Today we had a presentation on SWEE and it was cool up until it turned into join cal poly because we have engineering classes unliike EVERY FRICKIN UC IN CALIFORNIA! so it was a bit boring. but w egot to make the best prosthetic leg there ever was. it had the greatest comfort of the class and you didnt hobble when you walked.

Today is after the wednesday challenge and so its review do wehere we work on website and i figure out how to make a trinity knot.
day friday the 13 close enough its the 15 but yah
i know what today is cuz its friday and thats the only day that matters. today we had a sub and so it was screw searching city codes on what you can and cant do in defacing your school's sidewalk and instead it was work on your website because the progress reports go out today and apparently all the whole our or so we had to work on our websites is worth 100 points in the grade book when we only have 10 points in total entered in. the website check will make or break your grade in this class. that said my keyboard is reallly greasy and so i will end this post now

taoday is day two of somethingy
not much happening atm becauswe its really watch someone take snapchats and make bad jokes on edmodo. so yeah uhhhhh didnt talk to my group for a while now. but all im seeing is she is taking snapchats of people and then the guy who ive forgotten the name is watching the girl ive forgotten go through cat picture on their ipad . and now she is working on her about me page while she stares blankly at the computer screen. so yeah not much. oh yeah ms gill is touching base with each group for projects and we have nothing.

Dao day we went out to the garden to reconcept the ramp and even though ian and i are different teams it really became what is the most practical as the school doesnt want to pay anymore than it has to on this ramp and so it became give teh handicaped person access to 3 plots would be the most cost conservative. the way it would go, ramp would inlay downwards next to the stairwall of cv. After you get to ground level with the lower level which is the ground right above the top three planters there will be a flat graded area right above the garden with handrails on hte small wall side as well as next to the planters so that people can walk in and out next to open walkways; as the path would not be just for her private use but for the conveinience on anyone else wanting to use a graded slope for quick access to the gardens.

so nothing happened at all. it was work on a wednesday challenge form and update. thats it. nothing was interesting. i finished my spanish hw. im bored. idk what else im suppose to put on this. nathans website looks interesting. ima watch him code. end of period. oh no im so sad >________ > tmv
today is the day of the present
im writing this two weeks later than this date and really dont remember what we did. im guessing we were in teh computerlab and worked on the ramp design.
tada the magic of editing O.O ikr! so cool
today we didnt do much other than work on the website and listen to music. but nathan and i found a cool java code where the text aviods the cursor in a set circle around the cursor. looks exxtremely fun and cool but the amount of time to even even write one line for the code took 10 minutes and j3.java has 6 pages of coordinate code so yeah maybe not.

idk what im doing with this blog as teh main goal for websites was just a practical way to teach student to code without it feeling hard or boring. anywho i found out that no one in my group had worked on the presentation at all besides the title slide so now i gotta do everything smh (WC day paper bridge sept 28)
alright so since i didnt label the dates i have no idea what today is becuse im writing all of this on a saturday in november so. we did something to do with computers and ian nathan and i made jokes for the period on memes and school depression.

to start today's entry off i am cramming for other classes and have like 7 tests this week so my care for this class is out the window flying away. anyways uhhhhhhhh i studied for my spanish vocab quiz all this period and did hw because i got about 4 hours of hw tonight just of the regular classes that say 2 hours of hw per WEEK

ok failed that vocab quiz time to study and hope for the chapter test. uhm i worked on the presentation and got about half the costs calculated.
yeahhhhhhhhh i failed spanish.
tried learning the basics for java nad gave up so im watching nathan argue with his team on handrails and the material cost of them.

welp now is time to study for my english test which is easy but choi likes to watch her student form extreme depression and misery so im probibly gonna get a C on the test for the questions on the story that we never heard of
cachiga cachiga i watched the cars movie and i have to say the first one is better.
today is the fouthday of day 4 and as a result i have finished the costs section of the presentation because i am just that good. but in all seriousness the only other edits on the presentation are jackson made the title page and spelled my name wrong. not judging as its hard to spell a common name in a way that no parent would ever give their child. michEAl.

Today we sworked on the presentation and by we i mean me; while my group did hw
ngl my group is the laziest people ive seen. chris just works on spanish hw and when we give him something to do he messes it up to where the information is wrong or poorly done. not a clue if i got all of the presentation fixed but i dont know what he changed.
alright no wednesday challenge its work on project day but we are basically done so not much to do
same thing as yesturday. not much to do. we got chrome books so yeah. uhhhhhhhhhh chirs is playing on unblocked games. nothing is happening its complete silence.
today is friday and i did my spanish hw in this class because chris is doing his. yeah project is done.

today is october 16 um yeah i have a migraine and i hate this.
today we did final touches on the project and then i watched chris make sushi on unblocked sites.
today is day 2 of day 6
today all teh groups did a runthrough of the presentations cuz we presenting tomorrow
day 3 on the island it doesnt seem to be letting up on the torment of the fall of US education system.
today we did our presentations and i found that most people didnt want to do the cost for labor because their designs would cost more than my overestimated costs.
TOdayis the day after yesturday and we get to start designing spaghetti bridges.
well i didnt get ian or nathan but i got jarod and the group is pretty compliant to hopefully the design is compliant. the design is the same as last year hopefully it dries all the way this year
well its frieday and it was work on the filler project so i finished it in about 10 minutes and then started to try and update this.

today is work on project day
finished project last week so its do this and listen to youtube. i dont get why they block youtube with iboss because it really doesnt do much. the only thing that really limits me is the restricted mode that is default for the wifi which blocks most of my songs
today is tuesday
we did presentations on the devices we had been researching. most of the presentations were fine but Christians and tj's were really bad. like christian skipped over the basic use of a wacom tablet besides drawing. he didnt explain how it works not did he explain how the drawing utensil works other than saying "it works like a pencil" which is as useful information as a bolt action rifle can be used like anyother gun. and TJ i could tell didnt do research past the basics because he didnt learn about insulation or condensation or what the idea gas law really means. so yeah pretty halarious for the people that understood how a fridge and local transmission work but sad that people seemed to actually learn that the mist that comes from a fridge is not a flammible gas. its freaking water vapor! >:'(
toay is dis day of da week and the second last one of it.
today we worked on spaghetti bridges and we were able to cover one of the connection sites but ms gil thought it was messy ( its not and can be cleaned with brushing off the counter) so we did a thin layer of wood glue and hot glue to hopefully get it good.
today is last doay of day 7 but not friday
today we did presentatiions on the devices and then we finished up on nathans presentation of a sparky sparky shooty shooty gun

TOday is monday of day 8
today we finished presentation and then were assigned busy work of watching a video that is blocked by gusd internet protection. yeah psa: gill assigns videos not approved by GUSD admin.
and now is da ween of hallow aka listen to tyler laugh at insensitive jokes.

and these are the assigned questions:
a) What was the audio about? (1-2 sentences):the audio was about how if you wrap a certain plastic around a battery it becomes insulated. The polymer can shut off the battery at any given moment if the battery reaches a certain temp.
b) What did you learn from listening to this audio? That lithium batteries like any other batter has the capability to explode.(although not really dangerous unless you get it in you system)
c) Write the question and your answer for #6 in your post: How are batteries better or worse that other power sources? well batteries can stor energy while othert sources have to constantly generate energy. Batteries can quickly discharge a massive storage of energy while other powersources cannot such as solar or wind or fossil fuels.

today we did sketchup tutorial with kevin. not much happened as he explained the basics of sketchup. ian made a pak man and i played with the contour tool.

today we built bridges for the wednesday challenge and we finished a prototype it didnt work gbut it was fun to use as a rubber sword.

Today we continued to work on bridges and then we went to the lab and worked on websites and coding.

today was the first day of final bridge building and it hectac as we did so much to try and build and then we realized we were runing out of speghetti.

we finsihed iup the bridge tests and did final touches for the bridges.ians team won.
today is day 2 on the island
today we were in the lab given the assignment to make an object in sketchup the rules were you can do any object you want but if you are learning sketchup you have to do a soda can, if you know how to use sketchup you have to make a pencil, and if you are proficient with sketchup make an iphone and i dont care if you ahve an andriod or samsung or google phones, make an iphone.
today is wednesday the 15 of november
mr drop out strawn came to the class and helped people use sketch up. i was bored cuz i finished my pencil. and so i added lego figures to my picture.

today we tested little rock and it was doubling weveryone elses score. ms gill added a rule to specifically dq little rock so we went with the one we got from the internet
friday and i want this weeek to eeeeeeeeeeend
we did the final testing and we got 55 feet average but another team was carried by the wind for 70 so they won.
